With the arrival of World of Warcraft's next expansion, Dragonflight, it's time to begin saying our goodbyes to Shadowlands, which means taking a look at when its final season ends.
As the MMORPG begins transitioning over to Dragonflight's pre-patch, the end of the Shadowlands era will soon arrive, throwing away the theme of the afterlife in favor of dragons, plenty of them.
That begs the question: When does Shadowlands Season 4 End? Here's the answer.
When does Shadowlands Season 4 End in World of Warcraft?
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Season 4 ends on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. Once the weekly maintenance period ends players will be greeted with Dragonflight's pre-patch upon login in.
Shadowlands Season 4 ending means that all achievements and titles such as Shrouded Hero and Eternal Gladiator will be awarded to those who accomplish the requirements, thus making it unobtainable after the season ends. However, Shadowlands Keystone Master: Season 4 achievement will still be doable.
Players will still be able to contribute towards their weekly Great Vault with Mythic+, PvP, and Fated Raids in addition to all of the content in Dragonflight's pre-patch.
The pre-patch will be segmented into two phases, Phase One releasing on October 25 and Phase Two releasing on November 15. Phase One will include adding the system and feature updates and revamps such as the new Talent System, Heads-up Display User Interface (HUD UI) changes, and accessibility features, and will also introduce Rated Solo Shuffle as well as new Class and Race combinations. While Phase Two will bring on the new race, the Dracthyr, and its race-specific class, the Evoker with their starting zone, the Forbidden Reach, a new dungeon, Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr, and kick off the pre-patch's official event, Primal Storms.
The remnants of Shadowlands Season 4 won't last long as once November 28 rolls around, Dragonflight will be officially launched.
