Real Madrid's home kit for the 2022/23 season has been revealed, leaving many fans wondering if adidas has announced a release date yet.

adidas' latest batch of football shirts seems to be inspired by several of the best retro football kits of the past, as the new Manchester United home kit looks set to feature a similar vintage collar to this upcoming Real Madrid jersey.

However, there are several key differences between the United and Madrid jersey, the most notable of which being the colour.

However, we can now confirm that adidas has now launched the latest Real Madrid jersey.

This Real Madrid shirt is very reminiscent of kits from the club's yesteryears.

The hints of fluorescent orange from the 2021/22 design have gone, and have instead been replaced by black which dresses the sponsor, branding, and the outer rim of the vintage collar.

Upon closer inspection, you'll notice the typical three stripes down the shoulders come in the usual Madrid purple, a colour that also appears on the inner rim of the collar.

You also get a feint Real Madrid badge graphic printed all over the front of the shirt. A subtle design detail, but one that makes this kit stand out from the rest of the adidas kits set to be released in 2022 for next season.

As mentioned, the shirt has drawn several comparisons to previous Real Madrid jerseys, most notably this classic 2007/08 adidas kit worn by Van Nistelrooy, Robinho, and Raúl that features similar purple stripes and collar arrangement.
