After Manchester City's away kit recently leaked, the club's home kit for the 2022/23 season has now been revealed, leaving many fans wondering if PUMA has announced a release date.
The shirt has also been revealed shortly after the club's long-term rivals Manchester United's home jersey leaked, showcasing a design reminiscent of some of the best retro football kits of the past.
Man City's new home shirt also has a vintage feel to it, as the kit features a maroon tone that previously appeared on City's socks during the '60s and '70s.

However, we can now confirm that PUMA has launched Manchester City's 2022/23 strip as of 19 May 2022.
Manchester City Home Kit 2022/23 Design
As mentioned, Man City's home kit for next season will feature hits of maroon to contrast the traditional sky blue and white colour scheme.
The colour is officially known as Intense Red, and will feature around the collars and sleeves along with the white.
This colour was originally used around the teams' socks in the '60s and '70s, and again on the club's away kits during the 2012/13 and 2017/18 seasons.
Another interesting detail with City's new home kit is that everything from the badge to the kit sponsor has been centred down the middle of the shirt.
The branding then comes dressed in a dark navy, therefore adding another colour to the kit's wide range of tones.
