As we approach the holiday season, Nike has provided a first official look at a new winterised Air Jordan 3 titled the "Archaeo Brown" colourway for 2022.
The design is not too dissimilar to the "Archaeo Brown" Jordan 14s released in October last year, with the 3s featuring winter-ready uppers teamed with a fleece collar lining to keep your feet warm during the colder weather.
As a result, it looks as though these "Archaeo Brown" 3s could join the ranks of some of the best sneakers for fall, especially with their autumnal colour palette to match the rest of your fall wardrobe.
But when will you be able to get hold of a pair? Well, here's everything we know about their release so far...
Air Jordan 3 Archaeo Brown Release Date
After rumours spread of their arrival in October, Nike has now confirmed that the shoes are out now as of 8 October 2022.
The shoes look to have only dropped in adult sizes at this moment in time, although kids' variations may become available at a later date.
Moreover, it wasn't overly clear whether the "Archaeo Brown" 3s would be released in the UK as well as the US; however, their listing on the UK SNKRS launch page confirms their arrival.
Air Jordan 3 Archaeo Brown Design
As mentioned, the "Archaeo Brown" 3s have been designed with winter in mind, combining premium leather and rich textiles with a fleece interior to keep you warm this fall and winter.
The colour palette is inspired by an autumnal setting too, with uppers dressed in light brown with cream and Bordeaux accents, while the sole units introduce black and fossil grey.
The entire colour scheme is then rounded off by the orange fleece lining and eyestays as a final nod to nature whilst maintaining the classic Jordan 3 look.
The sneakers aren't void of Jordan logos either, featuring the classic Jumpman on the heels, tongue, and insoles, while simple 'Jordan' lettering appears underfoot.
You also get embroidered detailing on the toes and heels referencing the iconic elephant print from the original and several of the best Jordan 3 colourways of all time.
Overall, the "Archaeo Brown" 3s are definitely some of the most unique Jordans we've seen so far this year, but how much do a pair cost?
Air Jordan 3 Archaeo Brown Price
The shoes are currently listed at Nike SNKRS for $210 in adult sizing. This aligns with the usual retail price of a pair of Jordan 3s at this moment in time.
