Despite being over 35 years old, the Jordan 1 continues to be redesigned and reissued to this day, especially with Nike SNRKS recently announcing a new Black and Smoke Grey Low colourway on its way.
With exposed foam and frayed edges, the shoes have an 'unfinished' look reminiscent of the "Inside Out" Jordan 1s released earlier this year, making them completely unique to some of the best Jordan 1 colourways from the past.
That said, Nike has kept some of the usual Jordan 1 details intact for the release of the "Smoke Grey" colourway to ensure some of the iconic magic from the OG "Banned" 1s has been kept alive despite its distinct deconstructed look.

Air Jordan 1 Low Black and Smoke Grey Release Date
Nike SNKRS has confirmed that the "Smoke Grey" Jordan 1 Lows are available now in the US and UK as of 26 August 2022 after details surrounding a UK arrival were mostly unknown.
It doesn't look like the sneakers have dropped in full family sizing just yet but this may change a little further down the line. Make sure you stay tuned for further details surrounding their release right here.
Air Jordan 1 Low Black and Smoke Grey Design
Nike describes the "Smoke Grey" Lows as an 'unfinished' masterpiece, with the design being all about exposed and frayed edges to bring a deconstructed aesthetic to one of the best Air Jordans of all time.
As their name suggests, the uppers arrive in a utilitarian black and grey colour scheme, whilst the usual Air midsoles come encapsulated in an off-white rubber material.
Moreover, the upper pannelling has been left 'incomplete', leaving the cream foam lining on display to coordinate with the colour scheme of the midsoles.
You'll also notice the toe boxes arrive with a unique embossed perf pattern to elevate the look beyond your usual Jordan 1 fit.
Rounding off the design are the bright red Nike Air logos on the tongue tabs and in the centre of the off-white insoles as per usual for a pair of Jordan 1 Lows.
Air Jordan 1 Low Black and Smoke Grey Price
The "Smoke Grey" Lows are listed on Nike SNKRS for $140 (£134.95) in adult sizing, which is actually slightly more expensive than some of the most recently released Jordan 1 low-tops.
This could, in part, be down to the unique deconstructed design that makes these particular Jordan 1s stand out from the crowd and perhaps even puts them in line to be considered some of the best Jordan 1 Lows around.
