Hoopa Guide - Best Build & Abilities
Hoopa is a Support with the ability to create warp zones and teleport allies, escaping from danger or surprise attacks.
Choosing Your Lane
Hoopa's teleportation abilities make him the best companion of the primary Damage Dealer in the team. Therefore, we recommend using Hoopa in the bottom lane with a 2-1-2 lineup.
Early Game
Hoopa has no evolution. Players can start planning and controlling the map very early with a good escalation of strength during the duration of the match.
Option A: Hyperspace Hole
- Level 4: Hoopa creates a large ring at the designated location, dealing damage to enemies in the area of effect.
- After 3s, Hoopa and any allies in the area of effect will return to their base, and their movement speed will be increased for a short time. These allies can also warp back to where the ring was created within 3s.
- Use in the goal will create a warp zone to the goal at the top or bottom, depending on which lane Hoopa uses the ability.
Teams can use this ability to get into fights, move to the base and return to battle with full HP. With the proper coordination, this is a great weapon.
Mid-Game
Option B: Shadow Ball
- Unleash a shadowy blob in front of Hoopa, dealing damage to enemies hit and decreasing their movement speed by 50% for 1s and Sp. Def by 30% for 3s.
- If Hoopa hits the same enemy with a move or boosted attack within 4s, it deals additional damage and leaves the enemy unable to act for 1.2s.
- When using this move, if there is a nearby ally linked by Trick, this move will also unleash a shadowy blob at the same target from that ally's location.

Late Game
Hoopa transforms in a powerful form called Hoopa Unbound, increasing his DMG and Survavility. However, he can not score goals in this state.
Unite Move: Coup de Grace
- Level 9: Transforms Hoopa into Hoopa Unbound for a short time, increasing max HP by 40% and creating a ring at the designated location.
All allies can move to Hoopa's location during his unite move, making this Pokemon the perfect initiator.

Held Items
- Buddy Barrier - The longer Hoopa stays in the field. The most useful This item will keep him safer.
