UFL is a brand new game, looking to take advantage following the split between EA Sports and FIFA.

The Strikerz Inc. title aims to set itself apart from FIFA by being free to play (like eFootball) but ensuring it is not pay-to-win.

Recently, little information has been revealed regarding the game, but we want to try and clear some of the confusion surrounding the game's release date.

Check below for everything you need to know about the release of the game.

Latest - 2023 Window Revealed

At the backend of 2022, Strikerz Inc. CEO Eugene Nashilov announced via a video that UFL will be delayed until 2023.

With the turn of the year now arriving, we are expecting to see new information confirmed for the game.

We don't yet know when exactly the game will be released, but it'll be in late 2023, as confirmed by Eugene Nashilov on Twitter.

UFL Release Date

At the moment UFL has no official release date apart from that it will be with us in 2023, with its developers referring to it as an ongoing process.

With games like eFootball stumbling on release, UFL's developers are taking their time to make sure it is as polished as possible before committing to a date.

The game has been in development since 2016, but included in that time has been the building of Strikerz Inc. as a company, which came into existence at the same time.

Gameplay Reveal

UFL has revealed some brand-new gameplay for the very first time, giving a behind-the-scenes look into all of the hard work that has been sunk into the game so far.

It wasn't just gameplay on display, with a certain Cristiano Ronaldo also being confirmed as a brand new ambassador for the game.

Licences

Licenses are a key part of any football game, with a lack of authentic team often becoming an immediate deterrent for players.

Thankfully, Strikerz Inc. has teamed up with FIFPRO, the world's biggest representative organization for 65,000 professional footballers - the same organization that EA use for FIFA.

Another edge they could have over the competition is their partnership with InStat, a leader in sports performance analysis, which can give updated statistics for each player.

West Ham have been revealed as an official partner for UFL, with the London Stadium featuring in much of the game's promo.

As the team used in the trailer, it was only a matter of time before this was confirmed.

Other sides to have aligned themselves with UFL are Shakhtar Donetsk, Borussia Monchengladbach, Monaco, Besiktas, Celtic, Rangers and Hashtag United.
