Tony Hawk Pro Skater set to return amidst soundtrack licencing
It looks as if a certain Australian band have just confirmed the return of the popular franchise!
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater franchise began all the way back in 1999 and was massively popular amongst the gaming community.
However, Pro Skater 5 was received poorly by critics and the franchise has been quiet ever since…until now.

It would seem that a new Tony Hawk 2020 game has just been confirmed by a band – The Death Set.
The band posted to their Facebook page, confirming that five of their new songs have been licenced to a “Tony Hawk 2020 Game”.
But why exactly do we suspect this to be a new Pro Skater game?
Last November we reported that Serial leaker Sabi (@New_WabiSabi) took to Twitter to reveal that early prototype remakes of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 were shared around Activision’s various offices in secret.
That said, the remakes may only be test demos and a full sequel is what’s actually being planned.
Take note that there has been no evidence shared as of yet, however, Sabi is a pretty reliable source of information.
However, combined with the latest news from The Death Set, the possibility of a new Tony Hawk Pro Skater game is becoming increasingly likely.
