Madden 22 is bringing back Face of the Franchise once again, and this year things look better than ever with "United We Rise."
While the game mode was left out of the beta and we didn't get to try it there, here's everything we know so far about Face of the Franchise in Madden 22.

We've been hoping to see more of Face of the Franchise: United We Rise before Madden 22 was released, and we finally got to with a new trailer!
These All-Access videos have become a staple since Madden 22 was announced, and this one gave our first look at what's been improved for this year's single-player career mode.
Madden 22 reveals Release Date
Before we get to the details about Face of the Franchise, it's good to know when you'll actually be able to play it.
You can see the new Madden 22 trailer above, which includes the first actual gameplay footage of the title we've seen.
Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady will actually share the cover this year, making them both the first to repeat as cover athlete and part of the first two athlete cover since Madden 10.
Face of the Franchise: United We Rise
Madden 22 is bringing back the single player campaign mode Face of the Franchise once again, and a new year brings a new story and subtitle.
Last year, we saw Face of the Franchise: Rise to Fame focus on your player trying to overcome the adversity of being the number one overall draft pick.
Last year also included two years of college football in the story mode before your player actually arrived in the NFL, and we don't know for sure if that aspect is returning.
While little has been revealed just yet about Face of the Franchise: United We Rise in Madden 22, we did get some early details from EA Sports.
New Features in Face of the Franchise
While we haven't yet been able to confirm if the college football part of Face of the Franchise will be returning this year, we do know some exciting new features that are coming.
Perhaps the biggest change is that you'll no longer be restricted to choosing a quarterback, wide receiver, or running back.
For the first time, Face of the Franchise will now allow players to play as a linebacker to find NFL superstardom as a defensive beast.
There will be a brand new class system, and new player physiques will allow you to customize ratings, skills, attributes, and body type in all new ways.
Finally, they've added unified progression which lets your avatar and all progress, reward, and gear to be shared with The Yard in Madden 22.
With a few months left until the launch of Madden 22, we should learn more in the coming weeks about what Face of the Franchise: United We Rise will look like.
