November weather had a big impact in several games this week, but that didn't stop the NFL's stars from shining.
Another Sunday in the books means another TOTW is coming to Madden 21's Ultimate Team. Who will get the big cards this time?
Madden 21 TOTW 8 release date
As usual, the TOTW cards should be formally announced on the Good Morning Madden stream on Tuesday. That's 10:30am ET / 3:30pm GMT.
They'll then be in packs soon after.
Make sure to do the solo challenge so you get your Team of the Year token!
LTD - Patrick Mahomes
Eight weeks into the season and Mahomes' best card is still his base elite at 88 OVR.
That should change this week after a stellar beatdown of the Jets. Mahomes threw for 416 yards and five touchdowns. That's Player of the Week material, but Mahomes' name should drive huge pack buys if he is a LTD. Expect a 91-92 OVR card that is among the best QBs in the game.
POTW - Dalvin Cook
Another easy choice this week!
After missing a game and having a bye week to get healthy, Dalvin Cook crushed the Green Bay Packers almost single-handed.
He scored all four of Minnesota's touchdowns, racking up 163 rushing yards and 63 receiving yards. his performance meant Kirk Cousins only threw the ball 14 times!
He's already had one LTD this year, but he should get the 91 OVR POTW spot this time.
This year the TOTW Heroes are used to get more historical players into the game. Last week saw Rodney Harrison and Will Shields come in. So who will it be this time?
It's almost impossible to guess, but there are several theme teams in need of some help, so a Kellen Winslow Snr or Michael Irvin could easily come into the game here.
Rest of TOTW 8 predictions
Who could get the other slots in the TOTW promo?
Let's take a look.
His 89 OVR Team Standouts card might make this one a bit unnecessary, but there's no doubt DK Metcalf deserves a TOTW card.
He reeled in 12 catches for 161 yards and two scores in a big win for the Seahawks.
The Steelers remain unbeaten after a crucial win against Baltimore. A big part of their defensive success was down to Stephon Tuitt's play in the middle of the defensive line.
With nine tackles, a pair of sacks, and three more QB hits, he was a menace all day and should get a card this week.
The Titans suffered a surprising loss against Cincinnati, but Corey Davis had a strong game.
With eight catches for 128 yards and a TD, he could definitely get an 84 or 87 OVR TOTW card if the Madden team decides not to go with Metcalf.
Andrew Van Ginkel
It was a surprise win for Miami against the LA Rams, in part thanks to Van Ginkel's 78 yard scoop-and-score.
He only got three tackles, but a long TD is usually enough to get a defensive player a TOTW card.
