Recent leaks revealed scenes of a new teaser for Genshin Impact 2.6. In the video, players will learn more about the Kamisato Clan and the childhood of Ayaka and Ayato.
The new video seems to be a trailer for the upcoming rerun of Kamisato Ayaka that is arriving next week. Here is everything we know so far.
Ayaka Banner Release Date
The banner, The Heron's Court, will go live on April 20, 2022, at 6pm on the Chinese and Asian Servers. (Chinese Standard Time).
This breaks down to the following release times in other regions:
- April 20, 5pm GMT
- April 20, 6pm EST
- April 20, 3pm PST
The Heron Court banner will feature the rerun of Kamisato Ayaka - a 5-star Cryo Sword Character, and the following 4-stars characters:
- Rosaria- 4-star Cryo, Polearm User
- Sayu - 4-star Anemo, Claymore User
- Razor - 4-star Electro, Claymore User.
Kamisato Family
Even though most of the story about Ayaka's parents is well known by now, consider this a Spoiler Alert for players who haven't completed the Ayato story quest: The Firmania Leaf Falls.
Ayaka and Ayato are orphans, and their father died trying to fix the many errors that his family made in the past, with their mother also dying just sometime after.
In the images leaked from the new video, we can see Ayaka and her Mother playing a board game.
We can see the entire family on a flower field in another scene, but we cannot see their faces, which means this is probably a flashback or a voice-over moment.
We will even be able to see Ayaka as a very young girl. The teaser will be the first time Hoyoverse releases a video to tell the background story of a character, especially weeks after the debut of Ayato.
This shows how important the Kamisato siblings are to the Genshin Impact Community, and could be reflected in future story trailers to come.
