Genshin Impact Childe Tartaglia Materials: Ascension & Talent Materials Farming Guide


Childe Tartaglia is one of the most charismatic characters in Genshin Impact. Despite being part of the Fatui Harbingers the enemies of the Traveler, Childe has saved the day on a couple of occasions.

The Youngest of the Fatui will be back in a banner during Genshin Impact 3.2 according to the latest leaks.

Therefore, we have prepared a Farming Guide with all the ascension and talent materials needed to be ready for Childe's arrival.

Genshin Impact 3.2: Childe Release Date

Childe Tartaglia will return in one of the banners of Genshin Impact 3.2 which will go live on November 2, 2022.

Childe Farming Guide

Childe Tartaglia is the eleventh of the eleven Fatui Harbingers. He is always eager for a challenge, making him extremely dangerous despite being the youngest member of the Fatui.

In combat, Childe carries a Hydro vision and uses the bow as a weapon. He can swap from ranged attacks to melee during combat.

Childe Ascension Materials

These are the Childe ascension materials players need to level him up to level 90, and all of these materials are available now, so make sure to get your head start!

Cleansing Heart

These Eternal Water are an ascension material dropped by the Rhodeia of Loch, also known as the Oceanid, a World Boss who lives in Qingxe Village.

  • The Oceanid is located under the waterfalls in Qingce on the north of Liyue.
  • Players need 46 Cleansing Hearts for Lv. 90 Childe Tartaglia.
  • The Oceanid drops 2-3 of these materials once it is defeated for a cost of 40 resins.

Starconch

Starconches are a Liyue specialty, empty seashells brought ashore by the tides. Players can collect them on the beaches of Liyue.

  • Players require 168 Starconch for a Lv. 90 Childe.
  • There are 71 Starconch in the wild, refreshing every 48hrs.
  • Players can buy extra Starconch with NPC Bolai in Liyue Harbor.

Insignias

These insignias are common Ascension Materials dropped by the Fatui Agents: Fatui Skirmishers, Fatui Cicin Mages, and Fatui Pyro Agents.

  • To level up Childe to Lv. 90 travelers require:
    • 18 Recruit's Insignia
    • 30 Sergeant's Insignia
    • 36 Lieutenant's Insignia

Childe Tartaglia Talent Materials

The Fatui agents are the military force of the Cryo Archon. They are strong, elite enemies that harness all the elements.

To level up Childe's Talents to the max, players need:

  • 18 Recruit's Insignia
  • 66 Sergeant's Insignia
  • 93 Lieutenant's Insignia

Freedom Series

Talent-level books that players can obtain in the domain, Forsaken Rift on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday.

  • To max Tartiagla's Talents, players need to collect:
    • 9 Teachings of Freedom
    • 63 Guide to Freedom
    • 114 Philosophies of Freedom

Trounce Domain: The Golden House

The Golden House is the Mora factory and bank in Liyue. In this building, players will encounter Childe Tartaglia. They need to defeat the Fatui Harbinger to complete this Trounce Domain.

  • Childe Tartaglia will drop the Shard of a Foul Legacy when defeated.
  • Childe needs 18 of these pieces for max Talents.

Varunada Lazurite

Varunada Lazurite orbs are common Ascencion Materials used to level-up Hydro Characters in Genshin Impact.
