Genshin Impact 3.4, the latest update, is on the horizon, and Hoyoverse has revealed the full content of the banners of the first phase for the upcoming patch.
The first major update of 2023 will increase the roster of Dendro characters up to 5 with the debut of Alhaitham and Yaoyao. Here is the complete list of weapons and characters available in the first half of the upcoming update.

Alhaitham & Yaoyao Banners Release Date
The first phase of Genshin Impact 3.4 will go live on January 18, 2023, around 11 am Server Time (Chinese Standard Time).
In other time zones:
- EST - January 18 at 11 pm.
- PT - January 18 at 8 pm.
- GMT - January 18 at 3 am

Genshin Impact 3.4 First Phase Banners
The first banners of the upcoming update will feature Alhaitham and the fourth rerun of the Conquer of Demons Xiao.
Both banners will be available for 21 days. If you are using wishes to get Yao Yao, we remind you she will be available for Free in the Fortuitous Invitation Event.
These are the two banners of the first half of Genshin Impact 3.4
- Caution in Confidence, the Banner will feature Alhaitham, a 5-star Dendro Sword Character.
- Invitation to Mundane Life is the rerun banner of Xiao, a 5-star Anemo Polearm User.
The following 4-star characters complete the Banner.
- Yaoyao - 4-star Dendro, Polearm user who is debuting in these two banners.
- Yun Jin - 4-star Geo, Polearm user.
- Xinyan - 4-star Pyro Claymore user.
Yaoyao will be the first Dendro healer, so we can expect changes in how players use the element now. At the same time, Alhaitham is an excellent DPS with a lot of mobility.
Weapon Banner
The first Weapon Banner in Genshin Impact 3.4 will debut the 5-star sword, Light of Foliar Sanction, the signature weapon for Alhaitham.
For the second 5-star in the Banner, we will get the Primordial Jade Winged-Spear, one of the best polearms for all damage dealers.
