Recent leaks have given us a look at what characters will complete the roster for the banners of the upcoming version 3.4. Here's everything reported about the next banner from the latest rumors.

Genshin Impact 3.4 Release Date

First, we'll start with the Genshin Impact 3.4 release date, which will bring the first major update of next year on January 18, 2022.

According to the leaks, Alhaitham will be featured in the first half in the company of Yao Yao. The second phase will arrive on February 8, 2022, if there are no changes in the 2023 schedule.

Genshin Impact 3.4 Banner Characters (Reruns)

Genshin Impact 3.4 reportedly has three 5-star reruns along with Alhaitham's debut banner, Xiao, Yelan, and Hu Tao.

Xiao

• Rarity: 5 stars
• Vision: Anemo
• Weapon: Polearm
• Who is Xiao?
  • Xiao is a Yaksha from Liyue, a hunter of demons that protect the land of the Geo Archon from creatures that appeared after the Archon War.
• Xiao in Combat
  • Xiao is a potent DPS who will shine with teams that buff his damage and increase his survivability.
• Viability
  • Being an Anemos DPS, no good synergy exists with the Dendro Element, but characters like Faruzan provide new ways to play Xiao.

Yelan

• Rarity: 5 stars
• Vision: Hydro
• Weapon: Bow
• Who is Yelan
  • Yelan is the best private investigator in Liyue. She works directly with Ningguang and the Qixing. She always smarts her opponents.
• Yelan in Combat
  • Since her debut, Yelan has become the strongest support in the game, with great Hydro Application, fun playstyle, and substantial outfield Damage.
• Viability
  • Dendro reactions buff all Hydro characters, and Yelan is no exception. Therefore, we strongly recommend using your Primogems in Yelan if you want to boost your roster.

Hu Tao

• Rarity: 5 stars
• Vision: Pyro
• Weapon: Polearm
• Who is Hu Tao
  • She is the 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. Hu Tao has an awkward personality product of her connection with dead spirits.
• Hu Tao in Combat
  • Hua Tao is a single-target DPS that works better in vape teams. She is powerful, but her damage increase with low HP, which makes it risky.
• Viability
  • Hu tao was at the top of DPS characters for the longest time. Currently, there are less costly and more accessible options. But Hu Tao's unique skills make her a popular character in the game.

Althaitham Skillset in Genshin Impact

Alhaitham, the scribe from the Akademiya, is a 5-star sword Dendro character that will increase his damage with double swords attacks.

According to leaks from the beta version, these are his abilities:

• Elemental Skill
  • Alhaitham will rush forward, dealing Dendro DMG to nearby opponents when the rush ends, similar to Keqing.
  • By the end of the rush, Alhaitham will produce a Chisel-Light Mirror that will infuse his normal and charged attack with Dendro DMG.

• Elemental Burst
  • Creates a Particular Binding Field and deals with multiple instances of AoE Dendro DMG that will increase based on the Chisel-Light Mirrors in the field.
