Genshin Impact 3.0 is still a couple of months away. However, thanks to data miners and a very active community, the new update is starting to take shape with reported leaks.
Version 3.0 will not be an ordinary patch. It will mark the debut of an entirely new nation and characters with a new type of vision, Dendro.
Among all the rumors and speculations, Ubatcha, a reliable source in the community, has filtered the identity of the new characters coming in Genshin Impact 3.0.

We are excited to cover what's been leaked so far, but first, let's check when these banners will arrive.
Genshin Impact 3.0 Release Date
Genshin Impact 3.0 is expected to go live on August 23, 2022, around 11am Server Time (Chinese Standard Time).
We can expect the first glimpse of Sumeru, the new nation during the Version 2.8 Special Program taking place Friday, July 1, 2022.

Genshin Impact 3.0 Banners
We are not certain if Hoyoverse will keep the double banners once Sumeru goes live.
In the meantime, we can review the new characters coming to the game by the end of August, per the latest leaks.
Collei
For those following the story of the Genshin Impact Manga, (you can read it for free: here), Collei is a very familiar face, as she is one of the main characters.
It now seems Collei is becoming a playable character during version 3.0, and she will be a 4-star Dendro Bow User.
Collei will send a cute companion to the field as Gouba, Ushi, and Baron Bunny.
Tighnari
Collei is not the only Dendro character. Tighnari is an expert Botanist and will be the first 5-star Dendro Character.
Tighnari will use a bow as a weapon, and will have a similar play style to the one of Ganyu, with focus on charged attacks.
His kit will also focus around taking advantage of high Elemental Mastery.
Dori
While Collei and Tighnari were names often mentioned by the community, Dori is a big surprise.
Dori is the second Electro Healer, after the release of Kuki Shinobu. Similar to Noelle, Dori is a 4-star Claymore user that will heal even when she is no longer in the field.
Dendro Traveler
Another 5-star character we are getting in Genshin Impact 3.0 is the Dendro Traveler.
The only thing we have to do to get the power of the element, it is to unlock one of the Statue of the Seven in Sumeru, and our character vision will change to Dendro.
According to the leaks, the Dendro traveler spawns objects similar to Lisa's Burst that get buffed when they infuse with 3 other elements.
These are the boost for each element:
- Hydro
- Increases range of objects attacks.
- Electro
- Increases speed of objects attacks.
- Pyro
- Object explodes, similar to Pyro slimes.
While Ubatcha has been a reliable source for Genshin Impact leaks in the past, it won't hurt to take these revelations with a grain of salt, as they may change in the final version.
