Genshin Impact's 2.7 update brought a lot to the game, from new Banners and weapons to a compelling Archon Quest and innovative events.
Amongst these new features is a new character, Kuki Shinobu, a 4-star Electro.
Here's everything we know about Kuki Shinobu's banner, abilities, constellations, and release date in Genshin Impact 2.7.
Kuki Shinobu Release Date
Kuki will arrive in the third banner of the Genshin Impact 2.7 update on June 21, 2022.
Although not much is known about Kuki Shinobu apart from her being an Electro character, leaks suggest that she is set to be a healer.
Kuki will reportedly be the first Electro healer in the game, which will likely make a mono Electro team viable for end-game play.
Kuki's Banner
- Oni's Royale will feature the first rerun of Arataki Itto, a 5-star Geo Claymore character.
The following 4-stars characters complete the banner.
- Kuki Shinobu - 4-star Electro, Sword User
- Chongyun - 4-star Cryo, Claymore User
- Gorou - 4-star Geo, Bow User.
Normal Attack: Shinobu's Shadowsword
- Normal Attack
- Kuki Shinobu perform up to 4 Rapid Strikes
- Charged attack
- Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to unleash 2 Rapid Sword Strikes.
- Plunging Attack
- Plunges from mid-air strike to the ground below, damaging opponents along the path, dealing AoE DMG Upon Impact.
Elemental Skill: Sanctifying Ring
This ability creates a ring at the cost of HP from Kuki that will inflict Electro DMG.
The Ring will heal the character in the field base on the HP of Kuki Shinobu.
- Duration: 12 Seconds
- Cooldown: 15 Seconds
Description | Create a Grass Ring of Sanctification at the cost of part of her HP, dealing Electro DMG to nearby opponents. |
Conditions | Follows the current active character around. Deals Electro DMG to nearby opponents every 1.5 seconds and restores HP of the active character based on Kuki Shinobu’s Max HP. |
Conditions | The HP consumption from using this skill can only bring her to 20 percent HP. |
Elemental Burst: Goei Narukami Karlyama Ryte
Kuki uses her special weapon, a blade with a chain to create a barrier that will inflict AoE Electro DMG.
When the HP of Kuki is lower than 50% the barrier will last longer.
- Duration: 2-3.5 seconds
- Cooldown: 15 seconds
- Energy Cost: 60 Particles

Kuki Shinobu's talents are focused on increasing her healing capability.
Lengthy Consideration
- Yelan gains 25% more rewards when dispatched on an Inazuma Expedition for 20 hours.
Breaking Free (Lv. 20)
- When Shinobu's HP is not higher than 50%, her healing bonus is increased by 15%.
Heart's Repose (Lv. 60)
- Sanctifying Ring Abilities will be boosted based on Kuki's Elemental Mastery.
- Healing will be increased by 75% of Elemental Mastery.
- DMG dealt is increased by 25% of Elemental Mastery.
Kuki Shinobu Signature Dish
The special dish of Kuki Shinobu is a good-looking Omelette Rice. The fluffy egg cover a fluffy rice wrapped under a swaying skirt.
Kuki Shinobu have a Chef License and this dish is a proof from it. The dish will decrease the consumption of Stamina while climbing and Sprinting by 25% for 1500 seconds.
The Ingredients to cook one meal of Omelette Rice are:
- 4 Bird Egg
- 3 Rice
- 2 Tomato
- 1 Sugar
Constellations
All of Kuki Shinobu's constellations offer some solid DMG boosts.

C3 -To Sequester Sorrow | Increases the Level of Sanctifying Ring by three. Maximum upgrade is 15. |
C4 -To Sever Sealing: | When the Normal, Charged, or Plunging Attacks of characters affected by Shinobu's Elemental skill hit opponents, a Thundergrass Mark will land on the opponent's position and deal AoE Electro damage based on 9.7 per cent of her max. HP. This effect can occur once every 5 seconds. |
C5 - To Cease Courtesis | Increases the level of Elemental burst by three. The maximum upgrade is 15. |
C6 - To Ward Weakness | When Kuki Shinobu's HP drops to 25 percent or below, or when she takes lethal damage: Shinobu will not fall as a result of the damage sustained this time. She will gain 150 Elemental Mastery for 15 seconds. This effect will automatically activate when her HP reaches 1. This effect can be triggered every 60 seconds. |
