Genshin Impact 2.6 will mark the official release of Kamisato Ayato, the arrival of Ayaka's big brother will kick off a new era in Genshin Impact.
The Hydro element is currently very powerful, but mostly fulfills the roles of Support and Elemental Enabler. Ayato is expected to take the Hydro element to new heights becoming the first dedicated Hydro DPS.
Not only that, Kamisato Ayato will only be the first of a series of new Hydro Characters coming to the game in future updates. Here's everything we know about Kamisato Ayato ahead of his launch in Genshin Impact 2.6.
Release Date
Genshin Impact 2.6 will go live on March 30, 2022, and run until May 10, 2022.
Kamisato Ayato is most likely to be part of the first phase, debuting on March 30th until April 19th.
Last Changes
The Genshin Impact 2.6 Beta is coming to an end on March 16, 2022, just three days before Version 2.6 Livestream, where miHoYo announced everything new piece of content.
The end of the Beta means, there will not be more changes to Ayato until his official launch by the end of the Month.

- Kamisato Art: Kyouka has the following properties: After it is used, Kamisato Ayato will gain 2 Namizen stacks.
- When the water illusion explodes, Ayato will gain a Namizen effect equal to the maximum number of stacks possible.
- Kamisato Art: Katsusui Senkoku:
- If Ayato is not on the field and his Energy is less than 40, he will regenerate 2 energy for himself every second.
- Kamisato Art: Daily Cooking
- When Ayato cooks a dish perfectly, he has an 18% chance to receive an additional “Suspicious” dish of the same type.
Kamisato Specialty
Kamisato Ayato's special dish Quiet Elegance is a variation of the Sakura Tempura.
The recipe requires the following ingredients:

- 2 Lavender Melon
- 2 Sakura Bloom
- 1 Flour
Effects
Quiet Elegance will increase members shield Strength by 35% for 300s. In Co-OP mode, this effect will only affect your character.

Normal Attacks
Ayato's Kamisto Art - Korobi is a combination of 5 rapid strikes, a pretty standard normal attack for sword users.

Kamisato Ayato dashes leaving behind a copy of himself made of water after entering the Soukai Kanka state, an instance similar to Raiden Shogun Burst with long-range and high DMG.

- Duration: 6 Seconds
- Cooldown: 12 Seconds
Kamisato Art: Kyouka | Kamisato Ayato shifts positions, leaving a watery illusion at his original location and entering the Soukai Kanka state. The watery illusion will taunt nearby opponents and explode after a certain time or when attacked, dealing AoE Hydro DMG. |
Soukai Kanka | Kamisato Ayato uses his Shunsuiken to engage in blindingly fast attacks, causing DMG from his Normal Attacks to be converted into AoE Hydro DMG. This cannot be overridden. |
Conditions | After a Shunsuiken attack hits an opponent, it will grant Ayato the Wave Flash effect, increasing the DMG dealt by Shunsuiken based on Ayato’s current Max HP. The initial maximum number of Wave Flash stacks is 4, and 1 stack can be gained through Shunsuiken every 0.1s. This effect will be dispelled when Soukai Kanka ends. Soukai Kanka will be cleared when Ayato leaves the field. |

Kamisato Ayato burst will release a big AoE that will inflict characters with constant DMG and buff his team's attack speed.
