Fortnite is well known for having tonnes of new events come out consistently. This has kept players coming back for years. Luckily, we have a new Fortnite Street Fighter Cup on the way and it's coming sooner than you think. Here's what we know so far.

Street Fighter Fortnite Cup

To celebrate 35 years of Street Fighter, there's a brand new cup on the way. In it, you can win yourself a new loading screen for the game. There are two major cups going on. On April 27th, you can participate in a mobile-only zero build duos cup. The day after, on April 28th, you can take part in an all platform duos cup.

We don't have an official release time for it just yet but we do know some things. In order to take part, you need to have 2-factor authentification enabled and your account needs to be level 50 or above.

How do Fortnite cups work?

With Fortnite cups, you have a limited amount of time to get as many points as possible. Then those who have a high number of points may be entitled to a very special prize. If you want to know how the allocation of points work, this is the distribution of points broken down:

  • Victory Royale: 25 Points
  • 2nd: 22 Points
  • 3rd: 20 Points
  • 4th: 18 Points
  • 5th: 17 Points
  • 6th: 16 Points
  • 7th: 15 Points
  • 8th: 14 Points
  • 9th: 13 Points
  • 10th: 12 Points
  • 11th: 11 Points
  • 12th: 10 Points
  • 13th: 9 Points
  • 14th: 8 Points
  • 15th: 7 Points
  • 16th: 6 Points
  • 17th: 5 Points
  • 18th - 19th: 4 Points
  • 20th - 21st: 3 Points
  • 22nd - 23rd: 2 Points
  • 24th - 25th: 1 Point

Each Elimination will also earn you 1 point. To do well in this cup, you have to win and get kills - a pretty tough task.
