Here's how to take down Shadow Midas in Fortnite, and earn yourself a free Smash O'-Lantern Pickaxe this Halloween!
Shadow Midas Challenge
Players have been tasked with taking down Shadow Midas - the zombified version of the former spy boss.
Doing so will net you one of the best rewards of this Halloween event, the Smash O'-Lantern harvesting tool.

This is a free challenge for all players whether or not you’ve purchased the Season 4 Battle Pass.
How to complete the Shadow Midas Challenge
Head to the location formerly known as The Authority (itself formerly known as The Agency), which is now called The Ruins.
Shadow Midas can be found on the main floor or, occasionally, the second floor of The Ruins.
You can either head straight there and hope to take him out before other players, or land up higher and battle it out before descending.
You should have very little trouble taking down Shadow Midas on your own, as he is nothing compared to Doctor Doom or Iron Man.
The hardest part of this challenge won’t be killing Midas, it will be surviving the dozens of other players, and their Shadows, who are also trying to complete this challenge or are just landing in a popular location.
