How to Hunt Wildlife in Fortnite Season 6

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 is here and with it comes the all-new Battle Pass, new skins, map changes, weapons, and weekly challenges.

We are only on day one and it already looks to be one of the most exciting seasons yet.

But for now, let's find and Hunt Animals as part of the Week 1 challenges.

How To Find & Hunt Animals

Wild animals are a new feature to Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6.

Currently, there are four types of animals on the map, boars, wolfs, frogs, and chickens.

Here is what each of them looks like in-game.

This should be a fairly easy challenge to complete as the animals won't attack players, instead, they just run away.

So at least we don't need to worry about a frog third partying our box fights.

In addition to hunting them, they can also be tamed and can be used to help you in-game.

For example, chickens allow you to fly with them.

As the season is brand new we don't know where every animal can be found.

But we do know they tend to avoid built-up areas, such as POIs, and instead favour wooded areas, particularly the new autumn looking area that branch out from the middle of the map.

Hunt five animals and the challenge will complete.

Cinematic Trailer

To kick Season 6 off, players need to take part in the Zero Crisis event, which sees Agent Jonesy try and save the Fortnite island by stabilising the Zero Point.

The event is split into two parts, with the first being cinematic, while the second is in-game.

You'll need to jump into the game to play the in-game section.

But for now, check out the cinematic trailer below to see Afgent Jonesy battle Hunters and come face to face with the fourth member of The Seven.
