The ever-reliable FUT leaker DonkTrading has revealed more information regarding the 2022 World Cup in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
FUT 23 World Cup Additions
The news that will excite FUT fanatics the most will be the introduction of a World Cup Path to Glory promo.
The World Cup Path to Glory event will involve EA selecting players for boosted special items that will then receive further upgrades as their national team progresses through the stages of the tournament.
Ultimate Team players will also be glad to see a swaps system return for the World Cup in FIFA 23.
You will be able to earn World Cup Swap Tokens by completing objectives, which can then be redeemed for big packs and player rewards.
According to DonkTrading, EA will also release World Cup-specific Icons, FUT Heroes and Stars.
We aren't quite sure what 'World Cup Stars' are just yet, but these could be special cards for players who perform exceptionally well during the tournament.
To top it all off, it looks like we will ALL be getting a free World Cup pack in Ultimate Team too.
