Serie A POTM Contenders
Five players have been nominated for Serie A's September Player of the Month.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Theo Hernandez would both be exciting new items in the game, so expect to see them heavily favoured!
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (OVR 86)
What a start to the season for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic! The giant Serbian international has already provided five assists and chipped in with a goal.
Two assists and a goal in September put him at the top of the Player of the Month shortlist.
Theo Hernandez (OVR 85)
Set to be one of the game's most popular left-backs, Theo Hernandez could be in for an early upgrade after his nomination for September POTM.
However, Hernandez looks set for a spell on the sidelines with a muscle injury, so this could be his only opportunity for an upgrade for some time.
Kim Min Jae (OVR 79)
Pacey Napoli centre-back Kim Min Jae has already scored two goals this season, with his goal against Lazio the only one in September.
Napoli won three games out of three this month, with the Korean star already looking like one of the signings of the summer.
Merih Demiral (OVR 77)
Atalanta have started the season superbly, and Turkish defender Merih Demiral has been a major part of their unbeaten start.
A goal against Cremonese and two clean sheets in the month have put Demiral on the Player of the Month shortlist.
Udinese are enjoying a purple patch right now having won five consecutive matches.
Brazilian centre-back Rodrigo Becao has been outstanding during that run, helping keep a clean sheet against Roma in their 4-0 thrashing.
