FIFA 23 - Sensational Record Breaker Mbappe item INBOUND

Various rumours are suggesting that a sensational Record Breaker Mbappe card could be on the way in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.

Having cemented his place in Paris Saint-Germain history as the club's all-time record goalscorer, Kylian Mbappe is set for an outrageous new special item in FUT 23.

We're taking a look at what the Parisian's potential Record Breaker item could look like in FIFA 23 and how you might be able to get your hands on it.

Living legend

At the age of just 24 years old, Kylian Mbappe has become PSG's all-time top scorer with an astonishing 201 goals in 247 appearances.

The French forward surpassed Edinson Cavani on Sunday evening in a game where he registered one goal and one assist, helping his side to a 4-2 victory over Nantes and extending his side's lead at the top of Ligue 1 to 11 points.

Mbappe found the back of the net two minutes into stoppage time, before the club set up a short ceremony after the final whistle, with a big portrait of Mbappe displayed at the Parc des Princes.

Kylian Mbappe said: “It’s a privilege to play for Paris Saint-Germain. It’s special to be PSG player as this is my city."

“I’m here to write history — in France, in the capital, in my country, in my city. It’s beautiful — but I want also collective achievements”, he added.

Christophe Galtier’s side is flying at the moment, with the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi combining beautifully for PSG.

Record Breaker Mbappe

Kylian Mbappe could be handed the first Record Breaker item of FIFA 23, and the second of his short career so far.

The Frenchman was previously given a 91 OVR Record Breaker item back in FIFA 21 for becoming the youngest player to score 10 UEFA Champions League goals.

This time, Mbappe could go three steps further and be given a 94-rated special Record Breaker card in Ultimate Team.

Record Breaker Mbappe could boast 99 Pace, 95 Dribbling, 92 Shooting and 85 Passing as well as the crucial five-star skill moves and four-star weak foot.

We expect this item to be made available in packs as part of a mini-release, potentially alongside Liverpool's now all-time record Premier League scorer and certified Egyptian King, Mohamed Salah.

The PSG forward's Record Breaker card would no doubt be the best attacker in the game, aside from his own Team of the Year (TOTY) version, and would likely sell for over 7 million coins on the transfer market.

Another one for the collection

Kylian Mbappe already has six special items in FUT 23, with the would-be Record Breaker card being his seventh of the season.

The France international's World Cup Team of the Tournament item is perhaps the closest in likeness to the potential Record Breaker card.

The TOTT item is currently extinct on the PlayStation and Xbox market, with a maximum price set at 6.7 million coins.
