How do Team of the Group Stage (TOTGS) cards work in FUT 23?

There's plenty going on in Ultimate Team at the moment but it looks like the Team of the Group Stage (TOTGS) promo could be arriving in FIFA 23 soon.

The annual event tends to bring us some of the most overpowered special items in the game, with the best performers from the UCL, UEL and UECL being rewarded with big boosts.

TOTGS Items Explained

Team of the Group Stage (TOTGS) is a promotional event in FUT which involves handing out special boosted items to a selection of the best in-form players from the European clubs group stage competitions.

These competitions are the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League.

One-time boosts will be given to the top performers from the various group stages and these cards will be released into packs as a promo squad.

As part of the TOTGS campaign, EA will also release special themed weekly player Objectives and SBCs, allowing you to unlock untradeable items for free.

TOTGS Start Date

We do not yet have official confirmation of the Team of the Group Stage promo's start date.

The TOTGS event could be released on Friday, 4 November, although the World Cup Warm Up Series is due to start on that date.

The promo squad will be released at the usual time of 1pm ET / 6pm BST on release day.
