FIFA 23 Ratings always cause a stir and a recent rating update is sure to send shockwaves through the FIFA community.
Whilst Messi rises to World Cup glory, Ronaldo has fallen to another new low.
Check below for Ronaldo's latest rating woe in FIFA 23.
CR7's New LOW
Cristiano Ronaldo has once again been downgraded in FIFA 23, dropping out of the 90s for the first time since FIFA 11.
In fact, Ronaldo is now at his LOWEST ever ebb in FIFA, with 88 beating his 89 offering from FIFA 11 to become his lowest overall card.
The latest squad update saw Ronaldo drop 2 overall ratings following his departure from Manchester United and decline in form.
With Ronaldo only scoring 1 goal this season for his club and failing to move the needle for his country at the World Cup, EA has landed the latest blow.
Being Cristiano Ronaldo, we all know full well that the Portuguese star could rise once again and defy his age.
However, with no destination set for CR7, there's every chance that we'll never see Ronaldo in the 90 club ever again.
What next for Ronaldo?
As we enter 2023, Cristiano Ronaldo finds himself as a free agent with no club.
Ronaldo is currently training with Real Madrid but it looks unlikely that his former club will sign him up.
Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia have been linked, but it feels as if CR7 is waiting for something bigger.
Chelsea could be a potential destination or a return home to Lisbon in Portugal could also be on the cards.
Whilst the fall in form of Ronaldo has been sad to see, he will always be remembered for the moments of brilliance he showed on the pitch and - at least in our eyes - will always be one of the greatest players of all time.
