The signing of Cristiano Ronaldo to Al Nassr will almost certainly make the Saudi Pro League a fun option for building your new FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
Ronaldo is not the only superstar currently playing in the Saudi Pro League either, so it is a team that can compete!

Chances are you will need to bring in some defensive reinforcements to make it a hybrid squad, but check out the best Saudi Pro League Starter Squad below.
Attack
First stop, Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese legend still rocks a 90 OVR in FUT 23 which includes 93 Finishing.
CR7 will likely receive new special items in the near future, but for now, his price will be around the 80k mark.
Partnering Ronaldo in our front two is Sami Al-Jaber, and his World Cup Hero item clocks in with an 87 OVR and boasts 90 Pace.
At around 35k, Al-Jaber is a very reasonable price, although his 86-rated Hero item is available for half the price!
Midfield
Saeed Al-Owairan is the man you need on the right side of this team, but his World Cup Hero item is currently valued at over 600k coins!
His pacey 85-rated Hero item is available for around 90k, which is still expensive for its rating.
Saudi Arabia's match-winner against Argentina Salem Al Dawsari will play on the left, and his World Cup Path to Glory item is available for around 17k.
Anderson Talisca and Ever Banega are your best options to complete the midfield, but we think a hybrid option is best for your CDM at the very least.
Defence
Unless you unlocked Yasser Al Shahrani's World Cup Star in the swaps program, you won't want any of the current Saudi Pro League defenders.
Even David Ospina is too low-rated at 80 OVR to think about putting him in a competitive FUT mode!
Hybrid Squad
For your defence you can go down whichever route you want, but with Nico Schlotterbeck's Ones to Watch item available for free, we have opted for a German hybrid squad.
Kevin Trapp, Antonio Rudiger, and Jeremy Toljan are all reasonably and perfectly capable of competing in FUT 23.
Schlotterbeck as mentioned is available for free and can get even better too, while Leon Goretzka is a solid option as always in Ultimate Team.
David Raum's Rulebreakers item is our preferred option at left-back if you do not have Yasser Al Shahrani in your club.
