Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 Release Date

Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 will drop on the 16th of November, and that date has tons in store for Call of Duty fans. Warzone 2.0 is arriving at the same time, alongside the new DMZ mode, an extraction style mode played on the Battle Royale map.

Season 1 will be arriving with new guns and operators, useable in Multiplayer as well as the new modes. We can also expect a new level cap, and the ability to prestige for the many players who have been able to reach level 55 so far.

Modern Warfare 2 season 1 will also arrive with tons of new content as cosmetics, and most of these will be available through the battle pass.

Modern Warfare 2 Battle Pass

The new season will bring a new battle pass, in much the same style as we've seen for the last few Call of Duty titles. We can safely assume there will be 100 tiers of content to work through, including cosmetics and weapon blueprints.

The Battle Pass should retail for about 1000 CoD points, if you've got some saved up, or around £10/$10. The real gems will be located in the higher tiers, so if you're playing a lot of Modern Warfare 2 it's a great investment.

Multiplayer and Warzone will both level up the battle pass, and we can assume DMZ will have some involvement too.
