Assassin's Creed Valhalla has everyone unleashing their inner Viking.
While there are many ways to explore, fight, and grow your settlement, there is one item that any real Viking wants. Odin's spear.
Named Gungnir, this mighty weapon is a difference-maker in any battle. However, you can't just pick it up at the start of the game. So how do you get it?
Where to find Gungnir
As a legendary spear, you need to play quite a while before you can get to Odin's spear.
Located in Horadfylke in Norway, it has a suggested power of 280 so you'll need to be an experienced raider to get it!
Once you have completed all of the pledges of allegiance in England, Sigurd asks you to return to Norway to investigate some visions he's been having.
When you get back to Norway you'll get a quest called "A Brother's Keeper".
How to get Odin's Spear
As an escort mission, you don't have to do much more than just follow Sigurd to the location in the far north of Hordafylke. There you will find a deep cave.
Follow Sigurd through the cave until the path splits. Sigurd will go right, but if you look to the left you'll see a small game in the rocks with a glowing wall behind it.
Head through the gap and you'll get the mighty Gungnir!
