Resident Evil 4 isn't the newest Resident Evil title to come out of Capcom, but it's one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time - which is saying something for a horror game, right? Resident Evil 4 is a great game for so many reasons and now it looks like we're going to be able to become Leon in a more literal sense with Resident Evil 4 VR - here's what time it's going to be available on the Oculus Quest 2.
When does Resident Evil 4 VR come out?
Resident Evil 4 VR is due to release on the Oculus Quest 2 - as an Oculus Quest 2 exclusive game, no less - at the following times:
- 07:00 October 21st PST
- 10:00 October 21st EST
- 15:00 October 21st BST
" Special agent Leon S. Kennedy is sent on a mission to rescue the U.S. President’s daughter who has been kidnapped." - Steam Page for Resident Evil 4
Of course, Resident Evil 4 is about more than just saving the President's daughter - there's a lot of strange creatures and enemies to tackle. We can only imagine that the VR release of Resident Evil 4 is going to up the ante to a whole new level by putting you in Leon's shoes fully for the first time.
If you're curious as to how it will play, IGN has you covered...
There were rumours of a Resident Evil 4 remake akin to the Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 remakes we've seen over the last few years - however, the fruition of this sought-after release remains to be seen. We wouldn't be surprised if we saw it pop up in the future, but Resident Evil 4 VR seems to be the only thing we have at the moment.
Resident Evil 4 VR is an Oculus Quest 2 exclusive and there's no way to pre-order and pre-download it - you're going to have to wait until the time above.
