Despite currently being on his Call Me If You Get Lost Tour, Tyler, the Creator has revealed his new GLF 2.0 sneakers in collaboration with Converse.
Two colourways have been made in total to continue the iconic GOLF le FLEUR line, with both designs putting in strong cases to be considered among some of the best sneakers for summer around.
This isn't the only collaboration Converse has in the pipeline either, with Stüssy releasing Chuck 70 high-tops later this month as well.
However, while there are plenty of great Converse sneakers on the horizon, we're focusing solely on the Tyler, the Creator collaboration in this article. So, without further delay, let's dive in...
Tyler, the Creator x Converse GLF 2.0 Release Date
With the release date set for 9 June 2022, the Tyler, the Creator x Converse sneakers are out now.
Stock is expected to be limited though, so we'd recommend acting fast if you're eager to pick up a pair through retail.
Tyler, the Creator x Converse GLF 2.0 Design
The Tyler, the Creator Converse sneakers arrive in signature GOLF le FLEUR hues with the trademark flower motifs.
The two colourways include this Oil Green canvas and Bison Brown suede design, with suede covering the heel counters, toe boxes, tongues, and eyestays.
GOLF le FLEUR branding can then be found on the tongue tabs and on the pink insoles which match the outsole units.
You also get a GOLF le FLEUR hangtag in a teal tone outlined in off-white to complement the pebbled midsoles.
The second colourway adopts much lighter and brighter tones as Copper Tan combines with the peach suede overlays. As an aside, check out our guide to cleaning suede and canvas shoes right here.
The off-white midsoles and pink insoles, outsoles, and lining remain consistent across both colourways, much like the GOLF le FLEUR tongue tabs.
Overall, the sneakers have a relatively old-school, court aesthetic, but feature a much more contemporary construction as is often the case whenever Tyler, the Creator drops a sneaker project.
Tyler, the Creator x Converse GLF 2.0 Price
The GLF 2.0s cost $110 in adult sizing, which is around the same retail price as the previous Tyler, the Creator x Converse sneakers.
Details surrounding whether smaller and subsequently cheaper kid's sizes aren't clear at this stage, so stay tuned for further updates right here.
