With the silhouette celebrating its 40th birthday this year, Nike has revealed a new Air Force 1 Mid dubbed the "Our Force 1", leaving many fans wondering if a release date has been announced yet.
Alongside these mid-tops, Nike will also be launching "Anniversary Edition" lows plus a Vintage Sail remake of the original Air Force 1s from 1982, therefore making 2022 an extremely exciting time to be a sneaker fan.

After much speculation surrounding their release, the "Our Force 1" Mids are out now having launched on 4 July 2022.
The sneakers have debuted in a range of adult sizes thus far and celebrate the origins of streetwear with punk attitudes and staple design details.
Nike Air Force 1 Mid Our Force 1 Design
Nike has opted for a unique reptile-like design for these Air Force 1s, combining crocodile and snakes skin-inspired leather with a glossy finish.
The sneakers then come dressed almost entirely in black except for the usual white midsoles and the unique exposed stitching.
Nike also makes reference to the debut of the Air Force 1s by including the phrase 'Air Force 1 Since 1982' embroidered on the ankle straps.
Furthermore, you'll find a more direct reference to the silhouette's 40th birthday with the 'Anniversary Edition' branding written in cursive on the tongues.
Although these sneakers adopt a simple colour scheme, you will find pops of colour underneath the laces and across the insoles to contrast the official Black and Pale Ivory palette.
As touched on, the sneakers then sit on top of the usual white midsoles that encapsulate Nike's Air technology, thus rounding off the design in typical Air Force 1 fashion.
