Ubisoft's next Rainbow Six title is going to bring more than just a fresh coat of paint to the series - Rainbow Six Extraction is going to push the IP in a new direction and it could be one that sticks if it's popular. We're getting something that you might not expect from a Tom Clancy game, but you shouldn't count it out.

Microsoft and Ubisoft have confirmed that Rainbow Six Extraction is going to be coming to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on Day One - January 20th.

It's a huge announcement considering the fact that this is a third-party title and it could be a fantastic way to kick-start this game's life. With any luck, this will secure enough regular players to offer Extraction the same level of development as Rainbow Six Siege - but, only time will tell.

Release Date & Launch Info

Rainbow Six Extraction is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on January 20th, 2022.

Players can choose between the base game for $39.99, or the Deluxe Edition for $49.99, and both are available for pre order now. For Game Pass members, however, you'll only need your membership!

The Rainbow Six Extraction Deluxe Edition comes with 3 Epic gearsets, XP boosts (which apply to friends as well) and more. To unlock these bonuses, though, players will have to preorder rather than playing through the Xbox Game Pass.
