Jump To

PlayStation's next PS Plus announcement - confirming what games we're going to be getting in September - is almost here and we can't wait to find out what we're getting. Here's the latest and live updates on the PS Plus announcement when it arrives.

When does the announcement drop?

PlayStation is set to announce their next batch of PS Plus games - for the month of September - on September 1st at the following times:

  • 08:30 PST
  • 11:30 EST
  • 16:30 BST

Although the actual day of the announcement changes, it's always a week before the games themselves are made available to download and the time of the announcement is always the same. Keep an eye on PlayStation's social media channels, either way.

When can we download the new games?

Keeping the above in mind, September 2021's PS Plus games should be available to download from September 7th.

Although the PS Store doesn't always update straight away, you can sometimes download the PS Plus games a little after 00:00 local time by searching for them in the PS Store directly.

We don't know if this will be the case for September 2021's PS Plus games, but it might be. If not, then you should be able to download them after the following times on September 7th:

  • 08:30 PST
  • 11:30 EST
  • 16:30 BST

What do we think is coming?

At this stage, we're still not entirely sure what games we could see from PlayStation in September 2021's PS Plus games line-up. There is one leak making the rounds, though, that hasn't been debunked just yet.

The leak - which you can see below - suggests the following games will be coming to PS Plus in September:

  • Overcooked All You Can Eat - PS5
  • Hitman 2 - PS4
  • Predator Hunting Ground - PS4

These games are certainly not the worst games we've ever seen added to PS Plus - if the leak does come true - but we don't know for sure just yet. Predator Hunting Grounds is still getting post-launch content and Overcooked All You Can Eat is a complete experience with all the content from Overcooked and Overcooked 2 compiled into one title.

Hitman 2 is a little old, with Hitman 3 currently out, but it's better than nothing.
