It has been a big week for news as PS5's become easier to secure and even a PlayStation exclusive is launching on Xbox Game Pass.

Here is all of the news you need to know today!

Free Oddworld: Soulstorm Upgrade Confirmed

Oddworld: Soulstorm will be free for PS5 users as part of their PS Plus subscription when it launches on April 6th.

Unfortunately, PS4 users will need to purchase the game if they want to play it at launch.

However, the developers have confirmed that PS4 users will receive a free next-gen upgrade when they finally upgrade to the new systems.

Watch Dogs: Legion Getting 60fps Next-Gen Update

Many players were disappointed when, despite 4K visuals and ray tracing, Watch Dogs: Legion shipped on next-gen playing at just 30fps.

But, Watch Dogs fans have some good news as a 60fps update is coming in the future.

NEXT-GEN: Watch Dogs Legion will soon receive a 60fps upgrade

In a recent Reddit AMA, the Watch Dogs developers made revealed their upcoming plans saying,

"60fps for next gen consoles is in development and we'll announce the exact release dates with our future TUs."

Recently we have seen many next-gen games do this, sometimes without sacrificing visual quality such as Miles Morales now being playable at 60fps with ray tracing.

PS5 Stock Update

Smyths is next in line to receive a stock update, although it should be a small one.

It was rumoured that the restock could happen yesterday but it didn't happen.

There is a chance that it could happen today but it will likely be early next week when the stock goes live.

GAME and Argos are also expecting stock between April 8th-14th, with GAME typically releasing theirs between 9-10am, while Argos releases between 1-4am.

Amazon is also said to be getting two shipments this month, so hopefully this will make getting a PS5 much easier.
