The now-confirmed rumour came from a ResetEra poster by the name of BlackBate who has a pretty good track record, being correct about the recent Skull and Bones reveal and providing information on the Death Stranding Director's Cut ahead of time.

BlackBate listed a total of seven games set to come to the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers though did clarify that this was only "some" of the games expected to arrive this month. As was posted in an official PlayStation blog post earlier today, this has now been expanded upon.

The full list of titles coming to PS Plus Extra on Tuesday, 19th July 2022 are:

  • Stray
  • Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade + Episod INTERmission
  • Marvel's Avengers
  • Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
  • Assassin's Creed Unity
  • Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered
  • Assassin's Creed: Freedom City
  • Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection
  • Saint's Row IV: Re-Elected
  • Saint's Row Gat Out of Hell
  • Spirit of the North Enhanced Edition

The headline act for July is the anticipated release of Stray which had been announced long ahead of time. Stray is the first and currently only Day One release onto the new PS Plus service, a feature that PlayStation has said isn't the plan going forward.

Two PS Plus Premium-only games are also going to be added to the classic catalogue of titles with the PSP titles of No Heroes Allowed! and LocoRoco Midnight Carnival also being added to the service for fans.
