2K has revealed that a brand new golfing superstar and a new custom course have been added to PGA Tour 2K23!
PGA Tour 2K23 has been a revelation since its release, becoming one of 2022's best sports games.
However, 2K Sports is not done yet, always striving to enhance the golfing experience for gamers with new golfers and courses.
With a star-studded line-up already available to use in the game, this is a major addition coming soon in 2023.
Fitzpatrick joins PGA Tour 2K23
Joining the likes of Tiger Woods, Xander Schauffele, Jon Rahm, and Tony Finau as stars of the games is none other than Matt Fitzpatrick.
Two top-five finishes in his last three events, including the Tournament of Champions, have elevated the English star to ninth in the PGA Tour Rankings.
The 2022 U.S. Open winner, who is officially sponsored by 2K, will surely be a fan-favourite to use in the game and joins Justin Rose as a playable Englishman in PGA Tour 2K23.
As you can see from the image above, the likeness to Matthew Fitzpatrick in the game is uncanny.
Mastercard Mountain Valley CC
A new course has also been added to the game, with players able to test their skills on the Mastercard Mountain Valley CC right now.
The Mastercard Mountain Valley CC is a custom course created via a 2K partnership with Mastercard.
The new course is available for play in all game modes, with ranked matchmaking and Crossplay support available now.
Additional new content, including Spyglass Hill Golf Course, Pinehurst No. 2, Payne's Valley Golf Course, Eastside Golf gear, Barstool Sports Fore Play Podcast playable golfers and more will be available soon.
Who else is on PGA Tour 2K23?
The biggest name in golf and cover star of this year's game, Tiger Woods, is of course a playable golfer in PGA Tour 2K23.
Alongside Woods and several of golf's top players, 2K Sports has also added legends from other sports to the game.
Basketball icons Steph Curry and Michael Jordan are both available to use when hitting the course.
Nadeshot (Matthew Haag), the CEO of 100 Thieves, is a personality also available to use, with "Thieves Landing" one of the game's best courses too!
