Pokemon Legends Arceus, the upcoming Pokemon game, takes place in a time before the Pokemon Trainers existed.
The story takes place in Hisui, which was the name that Sinoh received many years ago. The game's primary goal is to build the first Pokedex of the Region.
Although we will see many familiar faces in Hisui, the region will introduce new creatures, including endemic evolutions of some staple Pokemon.
Pokemon Legends Arceus Starters
In every game of Pokemon, trainers have to face a crucial decision quite early, which Pokemon will be their initial companion.
While in most games, the initial Pokemon are taken from the Region where the events are taking place. This time around things are a bit different.
The three initial Starter Pokemon - Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott, come from three different regions.
The Galaxy Expedition Team in charge of creating the first Pokedex of Hisui decided to bring their Pokemon instead of choosing from those found in the region by a Pokemon Professor like in other games.
Hisuain Evolutions for Starters
The latest trailer of Pokemon Legends Arceus revealed that the three starters are receiving their Hisui Version.
The details of how these Pokemon brought from other regions are affected by the energy in the region are still unknown.
The only details we have are the silhouette of the three Starter Pokemon's in their Hisuain Evolutions.
Types of Hisuain Forms
Hisuian forms are the new type of variant Pokémon arriving in Pokémon Legends Arceus.
There are two types of Hisuain evolutions.
The first type is Pokemon we all know will have a different variety in Hisui. Some of the Regional Forms we already know are Hisuian Growlithe and Hisuian Voltorb.
The second type will be unique Hisuain Evolutions for specific Pokemon, like Kleavor the Hisuain Evolution of Scyther.
Husain Forms not only will change the design of Pokemon but also will add a new Type to shake things up.
With fans already excited about having starters from different generations and regions, the hype is even more real now that Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott can evolve to have a whole new type and cool new looks.
