NBA 2K23 MyCAREER: Story Mode revealed, MP first look and The City map

We've finally received the full reveal of NBA 2K23 MyCAREER and emotions are mixed. Some are pretty upset at the recent trailer.

MP is back and with him comes new drama in the NBA, which we're going to go over below. We'll also go over a few of the guest appearances.

Let's go over everything that was revealed in MyCAREER.

NBA 2K23 MyCAREER Revealed

Well, the NBA 2K23 MyCAREER trailer was released and was received with mixed results, many believe that it's a carbon copy of last year.

Frankly, the video below also reminds us of the MP experience from last year but there are several new guest appearances as well.

In the trailer, you'll see Kendrick Perkins, who is again critical of the NBA 2K23 MyCAREER main character but you'll also notice J.J. Reddick and J. Cole as well.

Perhaps the most interesting part throughout the reveal was the map of The City, which looks slightly smaller but definitely more interactive.

First Look at MP in NBA 2K23

One area where users are slightly upset is with the name "MP" sticking around. This mode seems like a continuation of NBA 2K22 MyCAREER.

We say this because of the media sentiment following our player and the fact that our player seems to have been in the league for some time.

It also seems as if there's a new player that our team either drafted or acquired during the offseason of NBA 2K23 MyCAREER.

Shep Owens would seem to be our antagonist this year. We'll have to see how the story mode progresses to see if we end up as teammates.

The City Map revealed in the trailer

Out of everything that was revealed during the NBA 2K23 MyCAREER trailer, we were most happy to see a look at The City map.

The map looks slightly smaller which we think would be a good idea as it would eliminate unnecessary locations or inaccessible buildings.

It also seems that Affiliations are back as the seperate colors on The City map could indicate various NBA 2K23 MyCAREER Affiliations.

The full reveal for The City is scheduled for September 7.
