Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector is the latest game to hit the 40k world and it brings with it turn-based strategy and tactical combat. You get to pick your own forces and dominate the battlefield through smart decisions and more than a little luck.
If this sounds like your kind of game, here's everything you should know about it coming up to its release.
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector Announcement
Announced just months ago on February 9th, the reveal trailer takes the viewers through an intense battlefield accompanied by the pounding sounds of EDM. It shows a handful of mid-fight stills before ending with the name of the game.
Although it says May 2021, it was held back by a few months but the game is still very close to release
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector Release Date
The game is now scheduled for release on Thursday, July 22nd, a very close release date.
Realistically, unless there are drastic problems, we won't see any more delays before launch
Platforms
As of right now, Warhammer 40K: Battlesector is scheduled for release exclusively on PC. That being said, if it does well here, we could see a port to consoles at a later date.
Here are the ways you can pick up the game:
- You can buy it from Steam right here
- You can buy it from GOG right here
- You can purchase it through the developer's site here.
Download Size
Though we don't have an official download size just yet, the site says that 25GB is required to download the game so we can expect a size of just under that. This could place the file size between 20 to 25 GB on release.
We could always see a day one patch but we haven't received news of this just yet. We will update here if any new information comes through before release.
