Madden 23: Trent Williams confirmed as first 99 Club member, watch his reaction

Madden 23's first 99 Club member has been revealed, with 49ers OT Trent Williams the first to enter the elite pool of players.

There will be plenty more to come, but Williams is the first of the new season and was understandably thrilled to become a 99 Club member.

Williams was revealed as the first 99-rated player in Madden 23 on Twitter via Adrian Peterson, who welcomed him to the club as a former member himself.

The San Francisco 49ers Offensive Tackle is also the first-ever O-lineman in NFL history to be added to the esteemed group of players.

The likes of Pat Mahomes and Travis Kelce featured among the five 99-rated players in Madden 22, so Williams truly is in good company.

Madden 23 99 Club

Mahomes is expected back in the club this year, although Kelce may miss out.

Rams pair Cooper Kupp and Aaron Donald could feature having dominated last season.

Steelers LB TJ Watt and Browns' DE Myles Garrett could complete a strong list in Madden 23.

MUT 23

With Madden 23 Ultimate Team quickly approaching, our first look at the game mode came with the latest Gridiron Notes.

Madden 23 Release Date

The release date of Madden 23 is set for Friday, August 19, 2022.

The good news is that placing a pre order could get you three days of early access. However, this is only available on the All Madden Edition.
