Is Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 Coming to PS5?

Being in development for almost half a decade, Senua's Sacrifice: Hellblade 2 has a significant amount of hype around it. If you're looking to finally play it for yourself on PS5, this is what you need to know.

Is Senua's Sacrifice: Hellblade 2 coming to PS5?

As of right now, there are no official plans to release Senua's Saga: Hellblade II on PS5. It is currently only planned for release on Xbox Series X / Xbox Series S and PC. Ninja Theory, the studio behind Hellblade II were bought by Microsoft way back in 2018 and their follow up title after this purchase, Bleeding Edge, never arrived on PlayStation.

Unfortunately, due to poor sales and a falling player base, Bleeding Edge is no longer being developed so this will likely never arrive.

If Hellblade 2 does really well on launch and Sony can strike some sort of deal, it's technically possible it could arrive but it seems unlikely at this point.

As of right now, we don't have an official release date for Senua's Sacrifice: Hellblade 2. This being said, we do know it is planned to release in 2022 and has been for some time. There's a new Xbox and Bethesda Showcase on in June and it seems likely we will see it resurface there. There's technically a chance we could see it get delayed as we still have not seen a release date yet.
