Hogwarts Legacy Avada Kedavra

Hogwarts Legacy Avada Kedavra

Hogwarts Legacy is now well underway, and it's everything we could have hoped for from a Wizarding World adventure. The Open World is just the beginning, as you'll learn powerful spells, tame majestic beasts, and much more as you continue your journey.

Avada Kedavra is one of the last spells you'll learn in Hogwarts Legacy, and for good reason as it's by far the most powerful. There is one spell though that makes it even more so. Here's everything you need to know about how to use it.

How to use this secret combo

There are a few things you'll need before you can use this combo on your enemies. You'll need to be at least level 22, and the more of the dark arts skill tree you have unlocked, the easier this combo will be to use.

The two skills you'll need to be unlocked to use the combo in Hogwarts Legacy are Crucio Mastery and Avada Kedavra Mastery. The others that will make your life much easier are:

  • Enduring Curse
  • Disarming Curse
  • Imperio Mastery
  • Knockback Curse
  • Blood Curse

This combo will allow you to kill multiple enemies at once and is invaluable when dealing with Bandit Camps, Lairs, and Battle Arenas. The first step is to use Crucio on any enemy. Use it on the tankiest member if you can, so they don't die before you use the combo. Trolls are the best target.

Then you'll need to use basic cast several times to spread the curse. If you have the dark arts tree fully unlocked in Hogwarts Legacy, you can also use Imperio, Expelliarmus or Flipendo to curse more enemies.

Once you have as many enemies cursed as possible, use Avada Kedavra on one, and all cursed enemies will die. This makes for some awesome visuals, and can get you out of almost any jam in the game.

How to kill multiple Inferi in Hogwarts Legacy

Inferi are one of the most annoying enemies to deal with, as they will only take damage after being dealt it first by fire. This means that even Avada Kedavra will not work if they haven't yet been burned.

With a slight variant of the above combo though, you can get around this quite neatly. You'll need both the above skills, as well as Blood Curse, and you can take down hordes all at once.

First, once again hit a target with Crucio, then basic casts to spread the curse. With Inferi, you needn't worry about them dying too early. Once all targets are cursed, use Confringo, and they will all take some fire damage.

Finally, you can then use Avada Kedavra to finish them all off at once. Try it out for yourself right now, and you'll never want to go back.
