Forspoken is expected to be one of the most exciting releases of 2023, with a very unique style of gameplay that will feel amazing on next-gen. With a fully explorable open world and much more on the way, this is a game you won't want to miss when it drops.

*LATEST* Demo changes announced after feedback
The Forspoken Demo has been live on PS5 for a while now, and the devs have received a fair amount of feedback and criticism. The game was less than people hoped for, with a number of issues still being present, and many fans found the gameplay underwhelming.
In response to the feedback, Luminous Production detailed plans to address the concerns of fans and added a list of changes coming to the full game. The list of changes included: increased text size, button mapping options, and a fix for HDR issues that some players experienced during their time with the demo.
Forspoken Release Date
Unfortunately, Forspoken has seen its fair share of delays during the run up to its release. Originally set to drop in May 2022, a five-month delay was announced, followed by another that pushed it back further.
The release window is now set in stone, however, and Forspoken will drop on January 24th, 2023, for PS5 and PC. The game will be a timed console exclusive for PS5, but PC users will be able to access the game all the same from launch.
We don't expect the game to release for PS4 and Xbox One at any time, since it has been developed to take advantage of next-gen hardware. This is an unfortunate recent trend in new releases for consoles.
Trailer and Gameplay
With the release now just around the corner, we've been treated to lots of sneak peaks of what's in store. As well as the reveal trailer, we've seen a full 10-minute gameplay preview. It shows off the best Forspoken has to offer in terms of magical combat and parkour.
