Elden Ring is one of the most hyped RPGs of 2022. After receiving an official release date last year, lots of questions were left unanswered. If you want to answer them yourself, you might just have to give it a go. Here's what you should know before release.

After years of waiting, Elden Ring's release is finally almost here. Parts of the world are now mere hours away from playing the game.

In a 20-minute preview live stream, we saw a huge reel of gameplay and new footage for Elden Ring.

The reveal had all fans of the game hyped and did the unthinkable... It left everyone happy!

Elden Ring Delayed

In an announcement made on 18 October 2021, Elden Ring will now release on Friday, 25 February 2022.

The delay comes as a surprise given how confident From Software seemed of their initial date and how long it too to commit to a release date at all.

Release Date

Elden Ring will launch on January 21, 2022. It's been a long time since it's original reveal at E3 in 2019, but it certainly looks to be worth the wait.

Time will tell if players get a chance to try the game sooner, or when preorders will open.

We've got a serious look at Elden Ring thanks to its new gameplay trailer, which premiered at Summer Game Fest on June 10.

It shows off the game's engaging art style, action-packed combat, and immersive world-building.

Elden Ring will follow along with the Souls genre, being created in part by the genre's creator, Hidetaka Miyazaki.
