Elden Ring is an upcoming action RPG and will be the result of combining the talents of Souls genre founder Hidetaka Miyazaki and ASOIAF author George R.R. Martin!
With an exciting new reveal at Summer Game Fest, Elden Ring now has an official, albeit delayed, release date, a new trailer, a look into gameplay, and more.
Here's all we know so far about Elden Ring.
LATEST - Elden Ring Delayed
In an announcement made on 18 October, Elden Ring will now release on Friday, 25 February 2022.
The delay comes as a surprise given how confident From Software seemed of their initial date and how long it too to commit to a release date at all.
Elden Ring will launch on January 21, 2022. It's been a long time since it's original reveal at E3 in 2019, but it certainly looks to be worth the wait.
Time will tell if players get a chance to try the game sooner, or when preorders will open.

Elden Ring will follow along with the Souls genre, being created in part by the genre's creator, Hidetaka Miyazaki.
It features a dark fantasy universe that also follows along with the Souls genre, and mixes in some flair from A Song of Ice and Fire author George R.R. Martin.
This will create an epic, powerful, and violent gameplay experience for players, where skill is the only separator from success and crushing defeat navigating challenging fights and bosses.
