Is Ark 2 coming to PC?

The new installment was announced as a console exclusive for Xbox at launch a little while back, but what does that actually mean? PS5 players will have to wait to play the game, but can PC players get in on the action any earlier?

Great news for fans is that yes, Ark 2 is coming to PC, and it will launch at the same time as on Xbox. Since both Xbox and PC are or can be hosted by Microsoft, it makes sense that the deal with Studio Wildcard extends to PC players as well.

Since the game is designed for Xbox Series X and S and isn't expected to come to Xbox One, the PC requirements are a little more than some. If you're only looking to run the game though, and don't mind turning down some graphics settings, you'll have no issues.

PC Minimum Requirements

If you're just looking to run Ark 2, and don't mid not having the best graphics available, you should have an easy ride. Here are all the minimum system requirements to run it:

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-7600/AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or better
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 /AMD Radeon R9 270 or better
  • PIXEL SHADERS: 5.1
  • VERTEX SHADERS: 5.1
  • DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 2048 MB

The recommended requirements to get the best out of Ark 2 have yet to be announced, but we will update this page when they become available.
