With updates slowly winding down for Madden 21, the hype is building towards things like this year's Madden 22 Franchise Mode.
With major push from players with the #FixMaddenFranchise campaign, it appears EA Sports has heard the call and could make the beloved game mode better than ever in Madden 22.
Here's everything we know so far about Madden 22 Franchise Mode.
Latest - Madden 21 April Title Update
While we saw some major changes and good signs for Franchise Mode with the March Title Update, it looks like things will be much less intensive moving forward for Madden 21.
The latest April Title Update detailed some gameplay fixes and addressed bugs on both current and next gen consoles, but otherwise not much was done.
Hopefully, that means EA Sports has shifted their core focus towards things like Madden 22 Franchise Mode, which may look better with this game than it has in years.
Madden 22 Franchise Mode
With #FixMaddenFranchise having seen major periods trending on Twitter, it remains one of the most beloved and criticized parts of the Madden series.
We've seen some of the most beloved features leave Franchise Mode over the years, but Madden 22 may finally be looking to remedy those mistakes.
In a previous Madden 21 update, EA noted that coaching and staff management, scouting improvements, new scenario engine enhancements, a new team chemistry system, and commissioner tools improvements were all things they are exploring for Madden 22.
Madden 21 Post-Release Updates
The developers have been committed to improving Madden 21 since the game launched, and that included a third and final update releasing with a focus on Franchise Mode.
Trade logic, player value improvements, draft pick values, and team philosophy value differences were all some of the changes made in the latest update.

Madden 22 looks like it will carry on the new standard set as developers keep improving the game after it launches, so we're sure to see updates in the months after release.
What's next for Franchise Mode?
If their previous update is any indication, we might see more leaks or vague details revealing pieces of how Madden 22's Franchise Mode will come together.
Based on the immediate response to the leaked Staff Management system, EA Sports could take that cue and continue trickling out bits and pieces of information in the build to the release of Madden 22.
The development cycle for Madden 22 should be ramping up as well, since the most recent Madden 21 update was their third and final for Franchise Mode.
The next news we hear about Madden just might be about Madden 22.
Madden 22 leaks new coaching features
The biggest piece of information known so far about Madden 22 dropped recently along with the Madden 21 March Title Update.
In the background of a short video from Madden NFL Executive Producer Seann Graddy, you can see a Staff Management system on his screen.
As seen above, the Staff Management screen shows the ability to hire a particular Offensive Coordinator and Defensive Coordinator for your Franchise, in addition to a Head Coach. These coaches will also have talent trees, offering a ton of new depth to running your staff.
This is something players have been hoping to see added to Franchise Mode for years, and it looks like it's finally coming to Madden 22.
