What is Project L?
Project L is a new fighting game developed by Riot Games. The fights take place in the Runeterra universe. Players will expect to see champions such as Ahri, Jinx, Ekko, and Garen all face off in the game.
So far, there have been a couple of gameplay trailers which make it look very similar to other classic fighting games. However, Riot games aren't one for the mundane. They are switching up the genre by including two champions that a player can combo with. This looks like it'll be exciting.
Is the game free-to-play?
Project L has to be one of the most rumoured games for Riot Games to create. There have been so many leaks and discussions, mostly fuelled by the delayed release dates.
However, Project L has been confirmed as being free-to-play! This isn't surprising given Riot Games' past releases. However, it does make it exciting for those die-hard League of Legends fans out there.
With other fighting games often not including micro-transactions, it will be interesting to see how the dev team implement this common feature of Riot games.
