LoL Patch 11.24: Everything we know about the upcoming update

League of Legends Patch 11.24 marks the end of a massive year for the game. Riot's ending things on a high note with some huge changes as well!

Here's everything you need to know about LoL 11.24 from its release time to its patch notes and everything in-between.

The League of Legends development team has revealed some of the big changes coming with League of Legends patch 11.24.

Buffs

Caitlyn

• Caitlyn’s next auto-attack gets a partial timer reset whenever she targets an enemy marked by traps or nets.

Ivern

• Friend of the Forest (Passive) - Krug Freedom experience 37 ⇒ 95, Freedom gold 39 ⇒ 85

Kled

• Skaarl the Cowardly Lizard (Passive) - Skaarl base health 400-1420 ⇒ 400-1550.
• Jousting (E) - Cooldown 14-10 ⇒ 13-9, ratio 60% ⇒ 65%.

Samira

• Inferno Trigger (R) - Mana cost 100-0 ⇒ 0 at all ranks.

Nerfs

Camille

• Hookshot (E)- Cooldown 16 -10 ⇒ 16 -12.
• Tactical Sweep (W)- Sweetspot damage 6-8 (+3.3 per 100 bonus AD) % max health ⇒ 5-7 (+2.5 per 100 bonus AD) % max health.

Item Changes

Archangel’s Staff

• Combine cost 950 (3000g total) ⇒ 550 (2600g total).

Axiom Arc

• Ultimate refund 25% ⇒ 20%.

Crown of the Shattered Queen

• Ability power 70 ⇒ 60.

Cosmic Drive

• Ability power 75 ⇒ 65.
• Health 250 ⇒ 200.
• Spelldance move speed 20-10% ⇒ 15-5%.

Evenshroud

• Damage increase 12% ⇒ 9%.
• Duration 5s ⇒ 4s.

Frostfire Gauntlets

• Damage 20-100 (+0.5% max health) ⇒ 12-85 (no health ratio).

Glacial Augments

• Slow amount 35% ⇒ 30%.
• Attack damage ratio 2% per 100 bonus AD ⇒ 4% per 100 AD.
• Ability power ratio 2% per 100 AP ⇒ 3% per 100 AP.
• H&S ratio 5% per 100 H&S ⇒ 7% per 100 H&S.

Runes

Conqueror

• Duration 4s ⇒ 5s.
• Adaptive per stack 2-4 ⇒ 2-4.5

Lethal Tempo

• Melee attack speed per stack 15% ⇒ 13%.
• Ranged attack speed per stack 5% ⇒ 7%.
• Ranged bonus attack range 100 ⇒ 75.

Predator

• Maximum move speed 60% ⇒ 45%.
• Ramp-up time 1s ⇒ 1.5s.

System Changes

The Dragons will be adjusted for the upcoming update.

Hextech Dragon

• Buff: Bonus attack speed 5% ⇒ 6%, bonus haste 5 ⇒ 6.

Chemtech Dragon

• Buff: Damage amp up to 5% ⇒ up to 6%.
• Soul: Bleed out time 5s ⇒ 4s, damage output reduction 33% ⇒ 40%.

Release Date

League of Legends 11.24 is scheduled to go live on Wednesday 8th December 2021.

Servers will go down for maintenance around 6 am EST, while the actual update will go live around 9 am EST.

Ultimate Spellbook changes revealed

For Ultimate Spellbook in League of Legends 11.24, developers will be adding 8 new ults and removing 2 of the lowest play rate ultimates.

New Ultimates:

• Cassiopeia
• Diana
• Ekko
• Fizz
• Nasus
• Poppy
• Ryze
• Singed

Janna and Rell's ultimates will be removed from Ultimate Spellbook in LoL 11.24 to make room.

Preseason 2022: Challenges

Players will get to experiment with the second batch of Preseason 2022 changes, this time with a focus on the new Challenges System.

The Challenges System will show players progress beyond their rank and their Champion Mastery. Riot will spread these challenges across different modes, strategies, and gameplays - so these achievements are slightly different from standard ones.

Challenges Categories

Besides the overall progression that is shown in the big Crystal on the new challenges page. There are five categories of challenges:

• Imagination: Modes and innovative plays make this category the home for those who dare to dream
  • Bad Medicine: Kill enemies recently healed by a healing pack in ARAM
  • Wave Goodbye: Kill 20 minions within 3 Seconds
• Expertise: Skillfully crushing your opponents is the way to earn big in this category
  • Unkillable Demon King: Win games without dying
  • Flame Horizon: Win games with 100 or more CS than your opponent
• Teamwork & Strategy: Working together with your team to dominate the Rift is the focus here
  • Soul Sweep: Claim Dragon Souls 4 - 0
  • Team Diff: Score aces between minion spawn and 15 minutes
• Veterancy: Putting up big lifetime numbers in kills, gold earned, and other stats will help boost this bucket
  • PENTAKIIIIIIIIL!!: Get Pentakills
  • Multi-Weapon Master: Win with different Mythic Items
• Collection: It's in the name. Collecting cosmetics and engaging in loot fills the bars here
  • Icon of the Rift: Obtain Summoner Icons
  • Spice of Life: Obtain Champions
• *Legacy: Time-limited challenges live in this category to commemorate past achievements others can no longer obtain.

More Debonair Skins Coming in LoL 11.24

In League of Legends, Debonair Skins are part of the futuristic alternate universe Crime City Nightmare. The Debonairs are people with strong influence on the streets of Valorant City.

Debonair 2.0 skins will include eight new skins - One Legendary, One Prestige, and 6 Epics skins for the following champions:

• Brand
• Draven
• Leblanc
• Leona
• Malzahar
• Master Yi
• Zed

Arcane Skins

Arcane, the Animated Series based on League of Legends, will debut its season finale very soon on Netflix.

With the end of the first season also comes the end of the Riotx Arcane event, which allows players to pick up free Arcane skins in-game.

The last day to claim these 4 Free Arcane Skins and 4 Free Champions is November 24, 2021. So make sure to log in and complete the simple missions before it's too late!
