League of Legends 12.5 might not be the biggest patch in size, but its changes will make a massive impact on the game, most especially in the top lane and jungle.

LoL 12.5 focuses on some big Master Yi and Hullbreaker nerfs while shaking up the strengths of Seraphine.

With that in mind, here's everything players can expect from League of Legends patch 12.5 as we count down to its release time, including its patch notes, server maintenance schedule, and all the latest news up to launch.

LoL 12.5 Release Time

League of Legends 12.5 will go live on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 9am EST.

League of Legends servers will go down for around 3 hours of maintenance before launch starting at 6am EST, but will return with LoL 12.5 ready to go.

LoL 12.5 Patch Notes

League of Legends 12.5 is a very focused patch. We will receive only a few but essential changes including changes to Hullbreaker, an Item that has warped the top lane meta entirely.

With that, here's the full list of LoL 12.5 patch notes revealed so far!

Champion Buffs

Only three champions will be getting buffs in LoL 12.5, but they should still shake things up in LoL Season 12.

Kennen

• Electrical Surge (W)
  • Fourth attack damage: 20 - 60 (+100%bAD & 25%AP) ⇒ 35 - 75 (+120%bAD & 35%AP)

Seraphine

• Surround Sound (W)
  • Mana cost: 50 - 130 ⇒ 50 - 90
  • Cooldown: 26 - 22s ⇒ 28 - 20s
  • Shield: 75-225 based on level (+45%AP) ⇒ 60 - 140 (+40%AP)
  • Allies are now granted the same shield value rather than two-thirds of Seraphine's value.
  • Heal: 5% (+1.125%AP) missing health ⇒ 5 - 7% (+0.75%AP) missing health
• Beat Drop (E)
  • Cooldown: 13- 9s ⇒ 11-9s

Samira

• Base stats
  • HP / Lv: 88 ⇒ 94
  • Armor / Lv: 3 ⇒ 3.
• Inferno Trigger (R)
  • Cooldown: 8 seconds ⇒ 5 seconds

Champion Nerfs

LoL 12.5 nerfs four champions, but none will feel it more than Master Yi.

Ahri

• Fox-Fire (W)
  • Mana cost: 25 ⇒ 30
  • Damage: 60 - 160 ⇒ 50 - 150
• Charm (E)
  • Mana cost: 50 ⇒ 60

Gwen

• Passive - Thousand Cuts
  • Monster max damage: 10 (+25%AP) ⇒ 10 (+15%AP)
• Skip ‘n Slash (E)
  • Bonus attack range: 100 ⇒ 50

Master Yi

• Alpha Strike (Q)
  • Damage: 25 - 165 (+90%AD) ⇒ 30c-150 (+60%AD)
  • Crit damage modifier: 60% (+bonus crit damage%) extra ⇒ 50% (+bonus crit damage%) extra
  • Now applies on-hit effects.
  • CD refund now scales relative to the max cooldown reduction from Ability Haste
• Wuju Style (E)
  • Damage: 30 - 70 ⇒ 30 - 62
  • Duration now doesn't decrease during Alpha Strike
    • Also doesn't decrease during Meditate
  • Can now cast during Alpha Strike
• Highlander (R)
  • Duration now doesn't decrease during Alpha Strike
    • Also doesn't decrease during Meditate
  • Can now cast during Alpha Strike

Xin Zhao

• Audacious Charge (E)
  • Cooldown: 11s ⇒ 12s
• Crescent Guard (R)
  • Duration: 5s ⇒ 4s

Item Nerfs

Only one item is getting changed in the LoL 12.5 patch notes so far - and it's a big nerf to Hullbreaker. With how much this item has warped the top lane meta, however, the LoL 12.5 Hullbreaker nerfs still might not be enough to salvage things!

Hullbreaker

• Decreased Resistances gained for ranged champions: 20-60 ⇒ 10-30
  • Unchanged for melee champions
• Decreased Resistances gained for large minions near ranged champions: 60-180 ⇒ 30-90
  • Unchanged for melee champions

LOL 12.5 Skins

League of Legends will introduce 5 new skins in LoL 12.5. The skins are Bee Themed in celebration of the start of Spring.

This year skins are for Ziggs, Heimerdinger, Nunu and Willump, and Orianna. Each skin will be priced at 1350 RP.
