Rounding out League of Legends Season 12's summer section is patch 12.18. The update is set to make some corrections and adjustments that the previous patch, LoL 12.17, made as well as give some final balancing and tuning to what will be the official Worlds 2022 patch.
However, before players can get their hands on the brand-new patch and all of its changes, skins, and more, League of Legends servers will go down for maintenance downtime.
Here is everything players need to know about the LoL 12.18 maintenance, including when the patch will release, and what it'll contain.
LoL 12.18 Server Maintenance Schedule & Downtime
League of Legends servers will go under maintenance on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 6 am EST and will go back up with the new update three hours later at 9 am EST.
Here are other time zones to follow for other regions across the world. They will all begin at different time zones and their maintenance is scheduled to end three hours later.
- Brazil: Servers will be going down for maintenance on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 05:00 GMT-03
- EU NE: Servers will be going down for maintenance on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 02:00 BST
- EU W: Servers will be going down for maintenance on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 05:00 BST
- Japan: Servers will be going down for maintenance on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 05:00 JST
- LAN: Servers will be going down for maintenance on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 03:00 GMT-06
- Korea: Servers will be going down for maintenance on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 06:00 KST

What to expect from LoL 12.18
Contrary to other updates before it, the 12.18 patch will take a more lowkey approach with its content and changes.
What will be the official Worlds 2022 patch will focus on making minor adjustments, mainly taking a look at some of the champions changed and buffed in the previous LoL 12.17 patch. Additionally, it gives the newly reworked Udyr a look and gives Lee Sin buffs, priming the Jungler once again annual tournament.
